From Fracture to Function: Immediate Neobiotech Implant Placement with Guided Bone Regeneration (GBR).

Transforming a severe fracture into a flawless smile. 🦷✨

Swipe to see how we managed a massive buccal bone defect using an immediate implant and Guided Bone Regeneration (GBR).

1️⃣ The Challenge

The patient presented with a fractured mandibular first molar. The CBCT scan revealed a major complication: an inflammatory lesion had completely resorbed the buccal cortical plate, leaving a severe, non-contained bone defect.

2️⃣ The Surgical Approach

Atraumatic Extraction: The tooth was carefully sectioned to preserve the remaining bone.

Immediate Placement: A NeoBiotech implant was anchored deep into the apical and inter-radicular bone to achieve rock-solid primary stability.

Hard Tissue GBR: We grafted the buccal defect with Alloplast (bioactive glass) and protected the site with a Native Collagen Membrane, secured tightly via periosteal bite sutures.

3️⃣ The Prosthetic Phase

After perfect healing and bone regeneration (confirmed by follow-up CBCT), we designed a custom emergence profile to respect the natural biologic width:

Deep Zone: \approx 1.5 mm for connective tissue attachment.

Intermediate Zone: \approx 2.0 mm for a protective biological seal.

Sulcus Area: \approx 1.0 mm for easy plaque control.

🏆 The Outcome

Predictable, biology-driven dentistry at its best! We achieved a highly aesthetic, functional, and stable restoration with excellent long-term peri-implant tissue health.
