First hands-on experience with the new NeoBiotech ALX-BT 5.0/10mm
Today, I performed my first hands-on implantation on a plastic jaw model with new NeoBiotech ALX-BT implant, focusing on the new drilling protocol and implant placement characteristics.
Two features particularly caught my attention: the new final drill design and the Bone Taper. Together, they provide excellent control during osteotomy preparation and implant insertion, especially when primary stability is the main objective.
My first impression is that the ALX-BT has very promising characteristics for soft bone conditions, particularly D444 bone, where achieving reliable primary stability can be challenging.
