Onebody implant supported FPD in the anterior mandible
Situation

- A 60 year old male patient had periodontally compromised mandibular anterior teeth #31,#41 & #42. Extractions were consequently followed.
- #32 was extracted 3 weeks ago due to severe periodontitis.

Two S-mini onebody implants were immediately placed on site #31 and #42, achieving primary stability of 40 and 35Ncm respectively. Significant bone resorption was present on site #31 and #32.

Bone materials were placed into the defect on site #31 and #32.

Provisional restoration was immediately delivered on the day of the surgery.

Impression was made 4 months after the surgery.

Cement-retained final restoration was delivered 5 months after implant placement.

Radiological 6 months follow-up.

2 years follow-up.
Conclusion
Two S-mini onebody implants were immediately placed in the extraction socket #32 and #42, achieving primary stability of 40 and 35Ncm respectively. Provisional restoration was immediately delivered on the day of the surgery, and cement-retained final restoration was delivered 5 months after implant placement.
