Intraoral Scanning System using a Scanbody

Situation

Implant placement on the missing area #16 was planned.

Pre-operative Radiograph

Panoramic radiograph was taken after an implant fixture and a healing abutment were placed.

A scan body was connected after removing the healing abutment.

Impression of an implant fixture can be taken at a fixture level by using a scan body.

Impression was made using intraoral digital scanner (Trios). Intraoral scanner 3D imaging plays in prosthetic guidance.

Intraoral scanner (Trios) locates an implant and mills prosthetics on the computer.

Custom abutment was fabricated without using a model.

Occlusal view shows the screw hole filled with a composite resin.

A composite resin was added to close the contact.

After 3 weeks of impression taking, the final SCRP zirconia crown was cemented with a final resin cement.

Postoperative panoramic radiographic view

1-year panoramic radiograph shows good follow up result.
