Immediate Placement of ALX-BT Implant in the Maxillary Second Premolar

Case Summary 🔎

A 38-year-old male patient presented for extraction of the maxillary left second premolar (#25).

Following minimally invasive extraction, an ALX-BT implant (Ø4.5 × 10 mm) was immediately placed at the extraction site. The peri-implant gap was grafted, and a healing abutment was connected.

After 4 months of healing, the healing abutment was removed and the peri-implant soft tissue was evaluated. A 3D-printed resin crown was fabricated and extraorally bonded to a titanium base for a screw-retained restoration. The final crown was then delivered and the implant position and surrounding bone were evaluated radiographically.
