The patient was a sixty-something male. The residual bone in his mandible had a remarkable height difference between the anterior and posterior regions. Four Neobiotech IS II Active implants were placed and bone leveling was performed to adjust implant shoulder levels. In order to remove excessive bone around an implant, Neobiotech’s Bone Profile is very effective and efficient. It is easy to handle and removes surrounding bone without damaging the implant. The inter-implant alveolar bone crest was flattened using surgical burs. Four months later, peri-implant mucosa was very healthy and Wada Precision Dental Laboratories’ snap-stud-type attachments were placed. This is the Highbridge superstructure (Dr.Yukihisa Takahashi developed in 2017)that uses snap-stud-type attachments. The superstructure was designed to have sufficient space for brushing around the four implants. Its labiolingual side is open so that the patient can clean the superstructure in the mouth.
