Punching & flapless surgery of mandibular multiple case with Neo NaviGuide





The treatment plan was as follows:

1) extractions of #32, 42, 44 and 45

2) implant placement at sites #32, 35, 37, 42, 44, 46 and 47

The Neo NaviGuide was placed in the mouth.


Tissue punch (200RPM)


Soft tissues on the planned implant sites were removed using a tissue punch.


Bone trimmer (200RPM) was used to remove residual alveolar bone and flattening the bone level.


A point drill (200RPM) was used for initial drilling.

IS-III active Ø 4.0x10mm (50RPM) fixture was placed in the area of #44.

Ø 4.5 drill (50RPM)



Ø 5.0 Cortical Tap (30~50RPM)



IS-III active Ø 5.0x8.5mm (50RPM) fixture was placed in the area of #46.




IS-III active Ø 5.0x7.3mm (50RPM) fixture was placed in the area of #47.



The fixture was finally tightened with the torque ratchet.



Ø 4.5 Cortical Tap (30~50RPM)



IS-III active Ø 4.5x10mm (50RPM) fixture was placed in the area of #35.



IS-III active Ø 4.5x7.3mm (50RPM) fixture was placed in the area of #37.



Ø 1.2 drill (200RPM)



Ø 1.5 drill (50RPM)



Ø 2.0 drill (50RPM)



Ø 2.5 drill (50RPM)



CMI S-mini (Neobiotech, Korea) fixtures were placed in the area of #32 and 42.
